TPS Receipt number not recognized

uscis online status shows this error "My Case Status does not recognize the receipt number entered. Please check your receipt number and try again" ... I know I am entering the correct receipt number Does anyone have the similar situation?? what did you do??

Call USCIS on the number listed in the form and tell them you have a problem. If the automated system on phone does not recognize you then, go to USCIS website and take info pass appointment to reach nearest USCIS office.

Receipt number on Form I-797C, Notice of Action... paper.

Give it a day or two, you might see it, after that you need to call USCIS.

USCIS online system takes time to get updated, you might have happen to receive the receipt before the online system update.

I had the same problem but just wait a few days and u will be able to see online.
