Is divorce in Nepal that easy? My wife (we are already separated since last three years..she is in nepal and i am here in usa..) just informed me that, she has talked with lawyer back in Nepal. Her lawyer will initiate the divorce case, and send over the documents to me via email or fax over here in USA. I just have to sign it and send it back to her. and that's it. Divorce is done. and lawyer fee and all divorce costs is only around 50 thousand nepali rs. She mentioned she is not filing for any anksa Yo ta mandir ma bihe gareko bhanda pani sajilo bhayena ra? Is divorce in Nepal that simple in case wife files it and doesn't demand for husband's property?

For a woman initiated divorce it is very easy in Nepal. If a husband initiates it you have to go through tons of hoops

Yup, that's correct. Our country is naaripradhan desh. Even if the wife asks for 50% of husband property, it's so easy. However,if the husband wants the divorce, forget about it....
