I received the 'Notice of Lien of Judgement For Unpaid Tax' from the court with plaintiff as State of Maryland. The total due is not big at all. I can pay it now. But i don't think it's that simple. Any ideas or suggestions in this situation. Thank you very much.

You should know the exact amount owed to MD, then you will pay penalty as well interest on it. My suggestion is find out the right amount you owed ( if you have not filed tax , you should do it now and figured it out and tell them you are paying it, you can arrange for installment payments). If you have worked two or more state , then you must file both state and find the right amount you owed to MD.
