robwin, that's coz a petitioner had high expectation and miserably failed. I mean 100,000 thousand signatures, seriously??? But there were another petitioners who asked for far minimum signatures and they timely met the signature limit?? So, don't rub your head against the wall thinking that petition has been archived and that all hope was over. I don't think so. There still is hope. It's obama word. So, keep hoping.

Btw, the last action taken on TPS for Nepal was on : 05/15/2015 Referred to the Subcommittee on Immigration and Border Security. Type of Action: Committee Consideration Action By: House Judiciary Since then nothing, nada. अनि अहिले यो TPS दियो रे भन्ने हल्लाको पछि नलागुम होला | त्यो माथि को चिम्से ले TPS को application भन्दै दरो fee डस्ने सोची रा होला , तेसैको देखा सिकी गरि , नेपालीले नेपालीकै रगत चुस्ने बानि लागि सकेका सेखचिल्लीहरु जुर्मुरौदै होला | अनि भोलि ' ल आओ TPS को application भराओ मुर्ख पाजी हो ' भन्दा खुरुक्क लाइनमा सय-दुइ सय दोल्ला हातमा लि दुकुलात्थक को सहि चिनारी दिन हामि पछि पर्दैनौ | तेसैले मुर्ख नबनौ , एक दम भित्रि स्रोत अनुसार यो TPS , हामीले पौने भनेको ' आकाश को फल आँखा तरी मल ' बाहेक अरु केहि होइन | Anyway, there still is HOPE. Since designation of TPS is just a notice and not a rule, as soon as the OMB review is completed and cleared, it will be published in the federal register in the form of a notice, which will stipute the details of registration period, registration process, and the period of designation. The OMB clearance sometimes takes only one day in emergency but in most cases it takes from one week to one month or even longer. For the designation of Nepal as a TPS nation, it is considered not economically significant but has international impact, and it is likely to take more than one day before the OMB clears such designation decision of the USCIS. •For Napali who have a stake at this designation, we are pleased to show the link here to give them a peace of mind. It will be just a matter of the time for the White House OMB to process and clear and the USCIS publishes it in the federal register.
