I think it is obvious Newars are against this jaatiya states. Just because a few organizations and parties jump around advocating this idea does not mean they reflect the view of the whole Newar society and Newar people in general. That is why in all 15 constituencies inside Kathmandu Valley, non of the parties who favoured the federalism based on ethnic states won. Do you guys remember how still major Newar constituencies of Kirtipur, New Road/Ason, Bhaktapur, Patan defeated people like Prachanda, Hisila Yami and the like? Also, there are I think over 20+ small parties catered towards only Newar-ethnic state and still non of them won, non could even get above 1000 votes...
