Hi everyone i am in a situation. I have pending asylum case from SFO. I have a job offer for that i have to move . so can i work outside the state, from where i applied asylum.

Thats not recommended according to lawyers. If USCIS find out they will move your case to following state.

You can work anywhere in the United States as long as you maintain your Permanent address in the state you have filed from. I am in same boat and have worked in different states though i filed from NY. Last edited: 24-Apr-15 11:28 AM
