Hello My OPT card expired more than two months ago. Now, I am applying at a college which has already accepted me and wants me to submit SEVIS release form to previous school. Legally, I think I am out of Status since its than 60 days grace period. But, looks like My SEVIS is still active. I was wondering if I can request to release my SEVIS, without going through reinstament. Is this possible?
