Do we have a link/website to check the status of MRP application from USA? Also, I will be shifting to a different state in a month time, and most likely before my new MRP passport arrives. If anyone encountered the similar situation, what would be a the best way to apprise them of my change in address. Just anxious these mofos at the embassy might lose my passport n nagarikta.

Just go to post office and ask them to fwd all your docents to your new address. Unless you have done something illegal

Thanks guys for the suggestions. That DOP website was quite helpful. Looks like my application hasn't even reached Nepal yet.....god help Nepal. It's just a waiting game now. I assume, since it was not rejected here(actually, got rejected once) at DC, would it be fair to say, it won't be rejected in Nepal?

Call the embassy and notify them of your change of address. They'll mail your newly issued MRP to your new address. That happened to me, too. I called them up and they were happy to ship it to my new address. You might wanna change your address on USPS right away, though. That way, even if the embassy were to cock up, your mail could get forwarded to your new address.
