Hi, I hope I can get some reliable information regarding if they do background check for a consulting job in tech field. How strict is it getting a tech job as a consultant with a record? Thanks for your help.

what kind of background check are you referring to? I interpret it as a criminal record. Yes, they do extensive criminal background check and yes, you cannot get the job if you have some serious criminal record.
