I was trying to apply to the new MRP since my curren Passport is going to expire. So, when I looked at the form, I was in dilemma what address to put. I mean, 10 years ago, the place I was born was a VDC and since they recently announced new Municipality, do I write the new address or old one? Anybody applied for a MRP with new municipality address? Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks rahuvai. One more question if you don't mind answering. What if my passport is expired? Can I still renew it from Washington?

Not being rude, but it just takes a simple call: (202) 667-4550 They have answered my question over the phone before. Try it, or stop by. You will get the right answer.

I tried calling them several times. Maybe it is the time I am calling them or something. It is always engaged.

U can renew expired passport frm DC embassy, they dont care abt the status. As rahulvai said, put the same address as in nagarikta. Though ur VDC might have recently converted to Municipality, the personnel in passport department in nepal will check your credential based on what info they have which is nagarikta and old passport info with vdc address.
