One of my cousin is trying to apply for F1 visa for the fall of 2015. His sat score is 1140, so which university should I suggest him? I was hoping for schools that would cost less than 3,000 per semester. Your suggestion will help me make a better decision.

Look around schools in Minnesota, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, New Mexico and Oklahoma. Many schools offer instate tuition for international students in these states. Minnesota and Texas has huge Nepali student population. You might wanna check that out.

Apply to places like Alaska, Hawaii, Wyoming, Montana etc where there are very few Nepalese. Too many Nepalese is a headache, competition for on campus jobs, khutta tanne tie ho. If u coming to US hang out with Americans and party hard, Nepali dherai shako thai ma jane faye ta Nepal nai base bhaihalyo ni, mina US airahanu part, vanincha ni US aayera pani koi Nepali gf banaucha, nepali gf banaune bhaya ta Nepal nai base hunch ni hoinara.
