Hi just want to know how good a place is Jacksonville to work and live? I have been presented with a opportunity to go full time in my current contract position but I have to move to J'ville -FL from Dallas, TX. I am not crazy about Dallas either but after moving here from North and living for about 4 yrs, it seems alright. I have been to FL, mostly Tampa, Orlando area, Miami and other places in south more than couple times; It was nice place to visit but never had an appeal to move and live there. The internet search is filled with ppl fed up with rednecks and crime in the area. Just want to know the experience of people actually living there at Jacksonville if it is worth the move. I am in no desperate need of job and am single guy but planning to get married and starting a family soon. So, would like to hear from the ppl there about the real estate, healthcare, schooling etc? Thanks
