I have no horse in this race. I went through the thread in question and frankly, I felt all the parties involved are equally guilty. 28th could have used prudence on commenting about a real person, I absolutely hate this mentality of humiliating a real person from the shield of a keyboard. On the same token Juggy could have been more civil about the protests; using profanity based childish remarks doesn't protect those people in the picture, it actually makes them look even worse. But I had no business over there so I kept quiet. Here, things are slightly different. Some entity is threatening Sajha.com with a lawsuit. It's my/owr business now! If any lawsuit is forwarded on this regard, I encourage Sajha to counter the suit. I will be happy to provide any monetary support that I am capable of and encourage other users to contribute as well. Of course we don't have to get there if the two parties find an amicable solution. Threats, profanity etc should not deter any entity, person or otherwise.

Juggy, your best interest is to sue 28th Amendment. As the orginator of the poster, he has the capacity to moderate his thread and his unwillingness to remove your copyrighted pictures, he's all guilty not the owner of this site. I don't understand why you are threatening with lawsuits to the owner of this site. Kiddo, that was squeezed up emotional rants when victim's plea is unheard of and law doesn't have anything yet declared of for such things but as regards to copyrighted materials being stolen or misused, well, if you don't know it yet, I would suggest you to take a class on copyright/patents/trademarks for that jaw-drop moment and that you were unaware of so many things on copyright. Yes, copyright holder can drag infringer to the court and no matter counter suit or not, he'll be compensated very well so that thugs like 28th amendment stray from stealing peoples work who runs rampant without attributing the original author. Welcome to the U.S. Copyright. The only thing I would agree is what you said about that Archie Comics. Anyone who is keen to use images on your projects, get public domain images. Using those images protects you from all legal hassles, they are free to use and has no copyrights. Dig down here at pixabay.com or morguefile.com Also, on bing.com, when you search images, look for 'Public Domain' under 'License' dropdown, that way you'll save yourself from all copyright lawsuits. Only reason I'm backing Juggy is because I myself is into creative work and I don't want some fckers stealing my work. If I caught them doing so, I'll drag them to the court and smack that bill to their face ' Don't steal my work, now pay for it, fcker! '

Bittertruth. You seem to be an expert on copyright laws. Care to respond to the point I and AdjunctProf raised on other thread? Little knowledge is a dangerous thing. I am not a lawyer, hence I offered to help with the financial aspect of the legal recourse, not with legal advice. My issue was not with the pictures or the copyright infringement, but merely with the threat of a lawsuit.

Let the court session begin! Juggy please present the evidence pertaining to your accusations. Only valid pieces of evidence will be entertained. Without any evidence, your accusations will be hearsay which is inadmissible in a court of law. I am being objective on this case and as of right now the case is not very strong yet. The case can turn against the sajha admin if you are able to provide some strong evidence. Here are my views on your case so far. 1. What was said during 'verbal contract'? Was there anything written down? Again, without proof everything is hearsay. 2. If sajha admin failed to take action even after you notified him to moderate the discussion, then he can be cited for misdemeanor. Is there any proof of this interaction? 3. You admitted to being paid to take pictures. In general, when payment is made to take pictures, then the payer has higher degree of ownership on the said pictures. Hence this very fact makes your case weak unless you provide evidence to counter this argument. Sajha admin is provided 24 hours to present his defense and any proof that he can provide on due proceedings of this case to counter any accusations levied towards him. Sajha admin may also file a counter law suit against the plaintiff. This case is adjourned for 24 hours.
