I have F1 visa valid until 2017 but I had to change college and academic program. I didn't complete the program. So in that case if I need to travel back home and come back, do I need new visa for different I-20? I talked to one immigration lawyer and he told me that I need new visa for new I-20. But my current DSO said that I can travel back and come back on previously issued visa. I assume that my DSO is correct. But I want to make sure before I make plan for travel. What do Sajha people expert on this type of topic think? Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
