In many states in USA, there is a windshield visibility law, specially targeted towards different stickers on the windshield. It ranges from state to state limiting the size of stickers and number. If i am not wrong, its says something like nothing except the rear view mirror shall be attached thats not transparent above 4 and half inches above the bottom of windshield or something like that that obstructs the drivers visibility. I am pretty sure he was pulled over for that reason.
