Hello Sajaites, I have a non MRP passport right now and have a H1B Visa interview in Vancouver in a week. I am planning to order a MRP Passport shortly after my stamping. Someone told me that if have a MRP passport, the visa stamps on the old passport would still be valid as long as I carry both passports ( and the non MRP passport is valid ). So I wanted to know if my new visa stamp would still be valid for next two years if I carry both passports. Thanks for reading the questions.

The "someone" you talked to is correct.

You'll be good as long as you carried both your passports.

Clojure, Can you please update about your stamping experience after interview. I am also planning to go there in a next month or so. Thanks
