Has anyone send used fedex to send electronic items to nepal outside ktm valley?

I have some electronics items that i need to send to Biratnagar. I was wondering if anyone has used courier service like fedex to send items to nepal. I heard receiver has to go by themselves to custom to collect their items and pay duties. But in case of biratnagar how does that work? Any information would be highly appreciated ....
