OK, ok Thanks, for the response-anyway, I guess it didn't come across clear in the Nepali translation ! Hell I can't read it! Well please, if you will offer your opinions... My wife wants to get a u. s. a. passport. Will the United States government inform the Napal government that she is an American citizen when and if she manages it ? Would she then lose her Nepali citizenship ? Could she lose her property in Nepal ? Whats the risk. Thanks

Nepali government would never find out if she ever got a US citizenship. Nepail govt just does not have time to worry about that kind of shit.

government normally consists of legislators, administrators, and arbitrators. Government is the means by which state policy is enforced, as well as the mechanism for determining the policy of the state. A form of government, or form of state governance, refers to the set of political systems and institutions that make up the organisation of a specific government.(wiki) यान्ड वि डन्ट ह्यव ड्याट सिट, सो डन्ट यु वोरी !

Thanks for the input ---- Nepal doesn't allow it's citizens to have dual citizenship--that could change but seems risky to leave to chance. The law is inexorable--thats the nature of law. I know they have 'bigger fish to fry' and probably don't give a shit it but...
