I am here in US and can I send my current passport to family member in Nepal to renew it? Is it compulsion that applicant has to be there in Nepal to renew passport? My passport is expiring soon. Gurus, please Thanks. Last edited: 14-Dec-13 03:09 PM

 Send it to Nepalese embassy in DC. Not Nepal.

रेग्मी, नेपाल अथवा दाहाल आफ्नो साख्य काका, मामा अथवा आफ्नो नजिकको नातेदार भएको खण्डमा एस्तो प्रस्न जायज छ नत्र भने एस्तो विचारधारणा बेकार छ! As such, the best and only thing to do is sending in your application to the embassy in DC.
