Need some suggestions regarding asylum and immigration reform

I filed asylum but recently, I heard they are passing immigration reform by the end of this year. Can I cancel my asylum? I just applied asylum today. Will I still qualify for immigration reform incase I get denied or I didn't get the aslum interview date sooner?
