people should understand that 'chanbin' takes time. they cannot expect result the next day. some cases are never solved. people should realise that too.

छानबिन takes time if it was ever started. Maoists are adamant that all the murderers should be pardoned. People are only asking to investigate the cases involved with innocent victims. http://ekantipur.com/2013/08/3...   ICJ concerned over Adhikari couple's health KATHMANDU, AUG 30 - The International Commission of Jurists ( ICJ ), an international rights body, on Friday expressed concern over the deteriorating health condition of Nanda Prasad Adhikari and his wife Gangamaya, who have long been on a hunger strike demanding investigation into the killing of their son Krishna. In a statement, South Asia Director of ICJ Ben Schonveld said theAdhikari couple is simply demanding justice. “They are not looking for more commitments or words. They are asking the state of Nepal to obey its own laws and investigate and punish very serious crimes …that violate international human rights law,” reads the statement. Krishna Adhikari, a native of Fujel VDC in Gorkha, was killed by alleged Maoist cadres on June 6, 2004 in Chitwan district. Chitwan police have started probe into the killing. Sources said that while the government has agreed to the couple's demand for investigations into the murder, it is unlikely to come up with a firm decision on taking action against the culprits. I think everybody fully understand , adhikari family had face injustice . But what I didn't understand is why it is boiling right now? If I am not mistaken this incident happened during insurgency . After that there were at least 2/3 PM from political parties who were directly involved in insurgency . This was not boiling topic then! At today's context how feasible it is to arrest prachanda or baburam, who are ultimately responsible for this kids death due to command chain by this interim govt, whose mere responsibility is to complete election . Our state have already accepted those who fought for Mao are soldiers and many of them are in army now, so how can state punish soldiers for following orders? Only history can punish those who were in fault , no one else anymore. If they try to find out some escape goat, that will be one more injustice. Last edited: 31-Aug-13 04:09 AM
