My wife was married before and she filed a petition for her ex-husband . Now since the period is still in initial review and she has sent all the documents like divorce paper and everything. Can she file a petition for me as we are already married? I mean the first petition has not been withdrawn yet. And it's been 5 months she has been divorced and it's just that she has already sent a letter saying she wants the petition to be withdrawn . But have not heard from them.
