In this position the successful candidate will provide support for the National Center for Environmental Health and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry at the CDC. Individual will provide high level expertise in developing complex software applications involving new technologies, methods, concepts, or approaches. Based on functional and conceptual design specifications, develops diagrammatic plans and design logic required to implement computer programs, IT systems and procedures in support of technical, administrative and information management functions and operations.   Duties will include but are not limited to providing software development services for the Web using Microsoft .NET 4.0 technologies which include ASP.NET, Visual Studio 2010/2012, Silverlight 4.0/5.0, XAML, WCF and Microsoft SQL Server 2008. Successful candidate will have opportunity to architect, design, and write necessary code for this application utilizing MVVM pattern. Team is using Agile development methodology.
