Should I sue orbitz?

 I bought an air ticket from JFK to Kathmandu from orbitz.com. Lateral tier few weeks, I called them and changed the dates.  Today was my flight. I went to JFK and went to Saudi Arabia airlines check in, but they said that I cannot go because I don't have the ticket. They told me to call orbitz. The agent at orbitz had made a mistake.  My flight schedule. jfk to Jeddah , Saudi arabia Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to Kathmandu. the Saudi airline count let me fly coz I didn't have a fligh from Jeddah to Riyadh.  Previously before flight day, I had though that ....Jeddah bata Riyadh chai airtrain jastai kei chase ra jaane hola.  So, the orbtiz couldn't fix this problem. So they made another schedule on 6th may for free of charge. Now I am staying a friend's friend and paying money. And I have to waste my time, money and energy. I'm not from NYC, I'm some other state. I told the, book me hotel in NYC. They said they will give me $90 value of travel money valid for a year. So my question is...can I get compensation for this or should I sue them. And if I sue them how should I be doing it ? help appreciated. Sincerely.

why am I feeling I've smoked weed while reading your post?  so far I tried to understand.. give 4 more days for yourself to enjoy, .. check the places.. why worry when you can't undo what's been done?  chillax and enjoy that 90 dollah.. Suing is out of scope, mistakes happen and how could you not be checking on 'em periodically before setting out?  Put your time now,money and energy to something productive and memorable. dude, I would at least re-confirm twice-thrice. (first I would book a ticket, weeks later, I would ask for window seat, weeks later, I would act totally dumb and ask silly questions, weeks later I would call and ask how to cancel my ticket but not really do it,.. weeks later, I set out..with print version of everything on my hand) Thanks Sajha, at least I'm learning a lot from peoples mistake here, I mean it !

 Sorry for the typing errors. i have the habit of doing things at the last moment. And now I realized how bad my habit is.  Thanx bitter truth for the sincere advice and some bitter truth. It feels foolish to realize your words being true. lesson learned ! and the reason you feel high while reading my post is because I wrote it in a hurry and anger towards my whole day. Pi shal enjoy my days at NYC.

 I do not recommend suing. You will lose ( I am sure that they have disclosed it in fine prints that it is the responsibilty of the customer to confirm.) Bittertruth ko 3 choti ticket confirm garne strategy aisde (ali extreme lagyo :) ), aru sabai ditto!

Just updating The orbitz refunded me the whole amount I spent on ticket. And plus my flight is for free!! Couldn't get better than this.
