hi friends. my relative is here on 6 months tourist visa. He want to extend it for another 6 months. It sounds possible according to immigration website but they said have to do 45 days in advance. But only 2 weeks are left to do so. Anyone had success with such an extension?. Or knows if this is possible. Proof of finance is not a problem. But what if there is no interview within these 2 weeks?. Then what happens?. Is a bridging visa given?. Or one is seen as legal as long as there is a visa process going on?. Please help. Especially those who had success. Thanks a lot.
