By your logic, average Nepalese should stop applying for student visas. No?

You tell me, I just posted about 'the trend'.

isajha · Mar 2, 2013 11:15 AM

I agree that this trend is wrong. At the end of the day, you are betraying yourself. One must always fight the temptation to do wrong. Just big words you might say, but it is worth it in a spiritual sense. That is why we Asians are not innovative because we are like sheep, we do not stop and think. We like to bend the rules to accomodate ourselves. We excel in rote learning and therefore have hardly produced any creative mind. They say charity begins at home. So does honesty.

1. IT job is not as sensitive as Doctor's job. Money vs Life. 2. You don't survive in IT job simply because of your resume if you cannot back it up with work. You can get fired at any time. 3. When its a matter of survival/progress there is no right or wrong. Nobody will appreciate you for your honesty if you are poor. Even your children will start to blame you for not earning enough when you had chance simply because you were honest. Mind it Fellas!!

"How fair is it to degrade your nation so badly that foreign nations provide you status to stay ?" Oh geez! Get off those high horses already! If people working via Indian consultancies are degrading "your nation", care to tell us how you managed to convince the visa consular on how you could afford to spend your college education here? Are you gonna return back following your completion of studies as you're expected to do?  This is a classic example of people making an issue out of non-issue. If you are so concerned about IT workers degrading "your nation", the problem lies within you.

IT work does not have issue with nation, that in my post was meant for gaining 'status' to stay. But then again , I do not have personal issues at all. Just a thread to see views.

Dear iSajha, I believe the employee, who got hired from by making fake resume are at the bottom of the hierarchy who gets benifited from it. Don't think that the client wont recognize you and your expertise. But they will give sh*t about the things you copy pasted in your resume as long as one deliver output based on their interest. Since such contractor are just temporary, the client have the privilege of removing them from contract at their will. If they have to look for genuine resume with experience of 5+ years, which I think is almost impossible  then they may have to go for full time position which will create a dilemma for the client as what to with such consultant after project's completion and other complications of added benifit and union things. Even... well lets stop here...

It varies person to person, how we were raised, our social life, neighborhood and the group we hang out may have some ipact shaping our brain. The same person may have different views on different topics.  A child of a corrupt family may not see "corruption is an ethical issue" but he/she may lecture hours on the topic you have raised.
