Buying Galaxy Note 2 from AT&T and taking it to Nepal

Will they be able to unlock the phone in Nepal? How much will it cost to unlock? After unlocking the phone, will it work in Nepal? Some phones say "International version". What does it mean? Last edited: 21-Feb-13 02:43 PM

 i am pretty sure they will be able to unlock in nepal but may charge more since it is one of the new phones. if your phone is quad band (meaning having four different bands) it should work. Ncell's frequency is 900/1800 Mhz Nepal Telecom is 900 Mhz

There is free unlock for any gsm galaxy s 3 and note http://forum.xda-developers.co.... Works great.
