 Hello friends, I am thinking of traveling abroad after getting my green card from political asylum. But my passport has expired. So I was thinking to renew my passport in the nepalese embassy but someone told me it might not be a good idea. So should I renew my passport or apply for travel document along with GC? what would be the wise decision? any people out there with experience? please suggest. thanks.

Common doug we are not pros here. Just common nepali guys trying to help each other. For ur answer consult lawyer ;) Becoz its a immigration issue. Anything goes wrong dont blame on us.

 Dude, you are a refugee so why would you wanna renew nepali passport? DOn't you think it sounds kind of fishy? Apply for the travel documents. Good luck!!

 Guys....got my RTD. I called Indian Consulate but they say I require VISA to travel to INDIA. anyone with experience? Do I really need a VISA?

U got residence permit is US saying u will get trashed if u go to ur home country and your mother state can't protect your basic right, now why the hell you want passport form same state. You were ready to cut off all your ties with your mother state isn't it.
