Some random emotions   When efforts seem to crush each other With a package of disappointment I look around with rays of hopes Sprinkling some glittering thoughts Around the periphery of my disappointed soul;   I have seen lives bitter than I could ever imagine I have been to places tougher than I could ever think of But when this sadness of being away from home When this loneliness of detachment Starts engulfing my mind I back-off a little bit, and follow a vague light Coming from some far distance I am actually not sure if it’s really a light I keep walking, hopes hovering Thinking that the light will shine on me;   I take a deep breath as I walk on I hold onto some shiny thoughts as I move on Many things have changed in me over the years But the urge to explore who I am Has always been the same;   There are still sweet glimpses of festive celebration Stuck in my thoughts But they are aging over the time span Like some ancient scriptures; Tried reviving them many times But  every time I attempted I felt a void, something missing Emptiness creeping in Now I have stopped teasing them;
