Kiddo, Too bad our charity did not win even though we tried. But look at the charity that is going to win, Egypt Cancer Network. They had the backing from the Egyptian Television and 29 thousands votes came in few hours and we lost the lead. At least, do not get fed up with our efforts to provide pencils and Cetamol to less fortunate Nepalese.  If you got emails or your FB page got overburdened by Help Nepal, I apologize for that. If it was Sajha that bothered you, you could simply have avoided the posts to reduce your nausea.

 Nepali TV Channels and print media in front pages are good at political gossipings, news about 'hatya hinsas durghatana' creating mass fears, etc. but less productive in casting productive and constructive news...  I came across a Nepali media person who was in tour with a group of Nepali businessmen in Los Angeles area with a minister. I wonder what news he collected or transmitted but noticed they were busy visiting Walmarts, and busy in 'Khan Pan' with hunekhane people around amrica, etc.

 देउसी-भैलोको कमाल, शौचालयको महत्व! गत वर्ष University of South Florida का केही नेपाली विद्यार्थीहरूले देउसीभैलो खेलेछन् र नेपालमा राम्रो काम गर्न भनेर 1,500 डलर जम्मा गरेछन्। त्यैसैबेला दोलखाको विश्णु निम्न माध्यमिक विद्यालयले एउटा शौचालय  बनाउन चाहिरहेको थियो। हेल्प नेपाल नेटवर्कले दर्जनौं कक्षा कोठा बनाएको छ तर स्कूलमा शौचालय निर्माणमा हाम्रो ध्यान पुगेको थिएन जसप्रति भ‍ूतपूर्व अर्थ सचिव रामेश्वर खनालले ध्यान आकृष्ट गरिदिएका थिए। हुंदोरहेछ के भने, नेपालका अधिकांश सरकारी विद्यालयमा शौचालयको राम्रो व्यबस्था नहुंदा कक्षा ६/७ सम्म पढाइमा राम्रो गरिरहेका छात्राहरू महिनावरी शुरू भएपछि हरेक महिना ५/७ दिन स्कूल नै नआउने रहेछन्। र, उनीहरुको पढाइ विग्रंदै जांदो रहेछ र एसएलसी फेल हुने अवस्थामा पुग्दा रहेछन्। यतातिर खनालले त्यो तथ्यप्रति हाम्रो ध्यान आकृष्ट गर्नु अर्कोतिर दोलखाको स्कूलबाट शौचालय निर्माण गरिदिन अनुरोध आउनु। कुरा ठ्याक्कै मिल्यो। अनि हामीले त्यहा शौचालय बनाउने निर्णय गर्यौं तर उनीहरूले दुईवटा कक्षाकोठा पनि थप्न पाए हुन्थ्यो भने। त्यसपछि हेल्प नेपालले अर्को चार लाख भन्दा बढी पैसा थपेर त्यहां दुईवटा कक्षाकोठा पनि निर्माण गरिरहेछ। यस्तो काम त हामीले कत्ति धेरै गरिसक्यौं, हाम्रो वेभसाइटwww.helpnepal.net मा सबै विवरण छ। संगैको फोटो विश्णु निम्न माध्यमिक विद्यालयमा निर्माणाधीन कक्षाकोठाका हुन्। शौचालय चाहिं निर्माण भैसक्यो। अब यो वर्ष पनि कहिंकतै नेपालीहरुले देउसी-भैलो खेलेर परोपकारी काम गर्न चाहानुभयो भने हामीलाई संझिनोस् है। अहिले त झन हामी रु १० करोडको परोपकारी अक्षय कोष स्थापना अभियानमा लागेका छौं। तपाईंको सानो सहयोग पनि हाम्रोलागि ठूलो हुन्छ। परोपकारी कोषबारेको सम्पूर्ण जानकारी यो लिन्कमा छ है:https://www.facebook.com/rabin...

  Dear all,   An eLibrary has been established in Ekpriya Higher Secondary School, Bardiya. A team of volunteers from Kathmandu University (KU) helped to successfully deploy the eLibrary at the School. The programe was supported by Ncell and Save The Children and implemented by Help Nepal Network. A team of volunteers from Kathmandu University (KU) helped to successfully deploy the eLibrary at the School.
