@ajoshinp The point of a Canadian PR is that it allows you to come to Canada and do whatever you want. You can do some survival job while you update your qualifications (this is what most nurses and doctors coming from Nepal do... they engage in some survival job and enroll in updating courses so their education/training matches the Canadian standard...they are then allowed to take the license exams for nurses/doctors... this applies to almost all professions). In the meantime, you don't have much to worry about. PR holders get preferential treatment i.e. your tuition fees for the upgrading courses are very low, sometimes they are subsidized by the government, FREE HEALTHCARE! free skills training to you and your spouse, free English lessons if PR holders need the lessons, etc. There are too many benefits to holding a PR.
