I think instead of known insurance companies like Geico, Allstate Insurance and others, if you go to local insurance agencies, you will get a better deal. When I first got my car, I was freaked out too but I got a good deal at a local insurance agent and after a year with my driving license all built up, I moved to Geico with low premium.
