I know Oklahoma shutout the "Mighty" Baylor Bears the greatest program in the college football..lol..Well Well... before we go all ga ga over Oklahoma, lets see who Oklahoma played....Baylor..Who?? and even with the "invincible" Sooners only managed only 2 touch downs on the first half. Baylor ..a program that has a dismal season like usual..a program that is the bottom of Big 12 conference..a program that won only 3 games this year..Indeed Oklahoma was very " impressive" also its "defense" was phenomenal not giving up 35 points like they did against aTm and Cowboys. As impressive as last year when so called "the greatest team" of the all time went on to win 12-0 in the regular season only to be busted by 4 touch downs by lowly Kansas-State and still making it to Alice in wonderland world of BCS Championship, only to be hammered by LSU tigers. I do not know if Oklahoma have still realized that how much of a hype they get. If they think they are that good they will be again busted on the National TV like last year by USC or Auburn whoever makes it to Orange Bowl eventually..more likely USC. Because USC and Auburn both have awesome defense, USC having number 5 scoring defense and Auburn has number one scoring defense in the nation and Oklahoma has not played any team that is as good as USC and Oklahoma so I think Ok trolls should enjoy till another humiliation. Now lets see who Auburn played... if you do not know Auburn-Alabama rivalry then it's okay..if you do, you would very much know that record does not mean anything in the Iron-Bowl. No matter how high ranked..anything can happen in this game. As a matter of fact, Alabama's defense is number 2 in the country. That being said, Auburn's offense was terrible in the first half but they only tried to run the ball. But second half was totally different. Auburn scored three back to back touch downs in its three possession. Also Auburn threw and ran the pigskin like they did all year along. The main thing is that Auburn's defense was still greatthat they did not let Alabama score a touch down till 90 sec left in the game and they never let Auburn never out of game. Like Trev Albert of ESPN said a great team always find its way back in the third quarter which Auburn exactly did. Still 21-13 is not a sign of struggle regardless against a team with a top defense on thier own home. Even after what Auburn did to Tennessee in the regular season and doubting Auburn's ability to win against them in SEC CG is hilarious. Tigers killed Tennessee in Tennessee infront of 110,000 Vols fans. That was when they had 2 phenomenal true freshmen QB's. Now they are injured, and Vols are playing with a third-stringer who couldn't do a squat against Notre Dame. Think of it man, with that defense Auburn will bloody murder the struggling Vols offense unless they try to rush but will be of no avail. Last time I checked, Vols managed just mere 104 rushing yards..enough said. Still Vols are ranked 15 and I hope they will show-up and put up a game agaist Auburn. Defeating ranked 15 will be another feather in Auburn's great season. Like I said before, the only reason OK and USC top 2 is becuase Auburn started out the season at 17. With all due respect to OK and USC,If they both go undefeated the voters simply will not let other team get infront of them and that is what happening with Auburn or else everyone agrees that Auburn is number one right now. If you do not believe then do yourself a favor and copy & paste any of the following links: http://www.collegefootballnews.com/2004/Rankings/CFN_Rankings.htm http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2004/writers/stewart_mandel/11/23/power.rankings/index.html http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/powerranking?season=2004&week=13&pollId=1 http://www.sportsline.com/collegefootball/polls/117 Yes..Auburn is number one on all of them except the CBS sportsline in which Auburn is number 2 and all "impressive" Sooners are third on all of them. I hope they are not lying..;). It is ironic that Auburn is headed towards Sugar Bowl which is okay considering the system we have no matter how faulty it is but nobody can take away what Auburn has accomplished this year. I hope Auburn will play VT or Miami in the Sugar bowl. Go Auburn!! Go Falcons!!
