This is a topical point, in my head, sometimes when I am popping. I have neither read the whole article nor plan to read the book. I just feel the topic is off putting for me. And it's me. People are welcome to go ahead and read. For me, it's like a Dhiraj Rai song. People listen to it. Some might even like it.

I am precisely interested in your comment about the quality of critique in Op Eds and news magazines in Nepal. I rote learned a bunch of "biwechanatmak" answers to pass Nepali in SLC. I never learned the art of reading a good critique. The only standard I percolated was by reading NY Times or The Atlantic and Maria Popova's Brain Pickings. So I gave up on Nepali critique. Not having an age old or established humanities, liberal arts curriculum in South Asian education system is reflective even in more established giants like the Hindu and Times of India. I bias this opinion by reading many Quora praises for everything related to IIT and a Shahrukh Khan's Ted talk (which was OK, and not godly, as commented by 90% Indian Youtubers). So man, I don't know. That critique does sound pretty lame. Pretty pretty lame.
