Hey PG i just received a mail stating that there will be a parwate film festival in nepal organized by Himal association. It is KAthmandu international mountain film festival. there is 29 participating courntries with 50 documentaries. While there is around dozen of nepali entries too ranging from himalayan life and culture to current maoist problem. It starts from Mangsir 24th. once the screening is done movies can be bought from Clearinghouse of south asian non-fiction film which is in patan dhoka. BTW when is Mangsir 24 in accordance to english date can anybody tell me cuz i am leaving for nepal on dec 9 th. speedy response will be appreciated.
