He has soft corner for humanitarian help but do understand that all TPS expired I think except for Syria and Nepal. But he won't give damn about Syria, so if he wants to remove it, call him racist (muslim is not race though) and to justify protesters he has to take down both countries just to look better in the eyes of liberals. So yes it is in danger atleast after 2018, Nepal's tps could be martyr because of syrian problem. keep protesting.
