i took samsung 32" tv two years ago. the qatar airways treated it as a baggage and i did not have to pay extra. if it was over 32", i might have to pay over $200. they handled all the fragile material very well. At the kathmandu airport, there are some people who picked the tv and kept in a safe place. i tipped them Rs 200. After all the hassels, the tv could not receive and display any channels .
