This is so pre-101 but here it goes. The hailing-from-where context becomes different and generalized based on where the narrator is currently located at.
Are you gonna continue to say that Mr. Chettri is from Kalimpong when we have all migrated to planet Mars after Elon Musk colonizes it? At that point, we will most likely say he is from planet Earth, not India, not WB, not Darjeeling, and def' not Kalimpong.
