Donald Trump's Presidency

We are officially in a post-facts era. The Trump supporters seem pretty happy living in their bubbles. They're very content gobbling up all the conspiracy theories and propaganda infowars, breitbart, facebook keep feeding them. These people would rather embrace racism, sexism because Hillary is too boring. They would rather vote for a braggadocio because Hillary's husband cheated on her. They would rather shake things up because Hillary's running for the Kenyan Muslim's third term. Who cares that Obama always acted in the nation's best interests? The government was so dysfunctional during Obama's term means tt was all Obama's fault, right? It wasn't the fault of the obstructionist Republican congress unwilling to do their job because of their antagonism toward the Kenyan Muslim, right? Oh, let's not forget that Hillary won the popular vote in a landslide because all unauthorized immigrants like us voted for her and many dead people voted for her too. Oh well!

People are frustrated with the establishment, and their savior Trump will drain the swamp. Yeah right! It's more like making the swamp more filthy and disgusting with the least qualified people you can think of. Who should lead the EPA? Uh, how about someone who thinks climate change is a hoax? That's perfect, right? Who should be the president's chief strategist and counselor? Uh, how about a misogynistic white supremacist? Who should be the national security adviser? Uh, how about someone who can't stop flirting with conspiracy theories? That will do it. I'd hoped against hope that Trump was just a demagogue tapping into people's fear, anxiety, and anger to win the election. But he keeps crushing my optimism with these disastrous cabinet picks. We have hit the rock bottom, but the saving grace is that there is only way left for us to go and that is up; I hope.
