If you have applied only the TPS. USCIS put them in a very low priority list, so most probably they have not reviewed your application yet. Same case had happened to me. I also had applied only the TPS, and even after 8 months they did not approve my application. Later, I applied EAD and then they approved my TPS and EAD at the same time.
