That's right. No one really cares to make any change. The underlying reason is the lack of unity in nepali society. We can blame this to the centuries old caste system that had us divided not only physically but also mentally. From a very early age we learnt to separate ourselves from other people within the same society. And now, the royal symbol is gone, the national anthem has been replaced with a tasteless, meaningless hymn, and there's nothing besides the national cricket and football team that units us. The country is at a pathetic state.
