I did submit the court paper that stated that the case was dismissed. In your case, you need to obtain the police paper from the concerned police office and court paper that state that your case was cleared. If you have those documents, you are good to go.

I my case it was only traffic violation case. I still had to obtain the court paper that stated that the penalty cost was paid.

Note: Those documents will be asked to present during interview process provided that you mentioned the incident in the application form. If you didn't mention in the form, they wouldn't ask and they won't be able to tract your incident.
