Totally agree with @GariKhanaDeu. Same thing happened with me in 2013. Transit in Istanbul was only an hour, flight delayed in ktm with 40 mins, So they literally made us run. They made the plane to US await for 20 mins, but i was lucky enough to catch the flight. There is a high chance that you might miss the flight. And the real story only starts if you miss the plane. Few of my frens missed the flight because pilots dint want to fly in the foggy weather in Nepal (its is everyday story, if they already know its going to be foggy , they could have simply change the flight schedule). They dont give you hotels unless you have US passport, the airport is the main hub for Europe so its very crowdy, you are lucky if you get the empty chair to sit. And the next flight is not until next day, addition to that they treat to horribly.
But my experience was good, as i reached US within 24 hours.
