nepa bhasa is tibeto burmese in origin .so it may sound like chinese for you though tibeto burmese and chinese sound titally different.
and newars are a community mixed of kirats, tamangs and other tibeto burmese folks, north indians etc. so u may get a totally east asian looking newar and a north indian brahmin like newar alike.
