TPS: in-state tuition research

thanks for the reply. I have been living in California for years but when I heard it only counts after a year of your TPS got approved. That means if my TPS was approved in 2016 then I have to wait till 2017.
But you know what I found this online: "The first factor in paying for college is the tuition cost. State schools offer lower in-state tuition to state residents. As the Washington Post has reported, some states, including Virginia, permit TPS students to pay in-state tuition fees at state colleges. Prospective students who are interested in matriculating at a school within their state college system should contact the school to learn if TPS status holders are eligible for in-state tuition. If so, the prospective student will also need to satisfy the school’s residency requirements."
This doesn't specify 1 year and we might not have a 1 year...... The most important thing is I am an international student....
