Most of the problems that US is facing currently is due to lack of $$$ in the middle and lower class, the money has been trickling up to the top 1% for at least over few decades because most presidents and politicians have overtly or covertly supported in making the rich richer because they have personally benefitted from them. It's unlikely that Bernie will be able to change all the wrongs but someone taking a stance against corporate hegemony which encourages profits at any cost, without any concern for the lives of people or the life of planet earth - is a welcome change from the hopelessness of corporate greed that has infested the politics and adversely affected the living standard of the common man, woman and child.

Citizens have had no alternatives but to accept the appointment of people with high conflict of interest in public offices. Corporations are selling food that is harmful for consumption because the politicians are looking after their interests. Pharmaceutical, medical and insurance industries are squeezing the money out of general public because politicians are making decisions which are favorable to the industry instead of the general public. This has set a very dangerous precedence as inhumane policies are made that are not only harmful to people but to the world itself that we live in.

It's high time someone starts to address such stark irregularities in the system. Instead of beating around the bush with other candidates who show hope of more lollypops than last year while being in bed with the big industries, we need to get to the root of the problem!

Clearly other candidates' goal is to win an election while Bernie Sander's goal is to save Democracy.

The other candidates - as soon as they win, they have to make sure they please the big corporations and billionaires who supported their campaigns by making policies that favor them. But not Bernie. Bernie is the only person who does not have to answer to the big corporations, who can focus on restoring the meaning of a democratic government which is answerable to the people and not the billionaires as is the case right now.
