Dear Gurlu, In commencing this note to you, I seek your indulgence in my using "Gurlu', a term of endearment and familiarity. I do this for reasons of the warmth you engender in your readers with the wit and joy that permeates your writings. Given the frequency of bitter and vituperative attacks that masquerade as debate here, your lighthearted and humourous repartee has brought a smile to oft-stressful days of mine. I am certain many readers will happily echo a similar sentiment. Of late, I have chosen to be a silent reader. My reverie, however, was disrupted on reading of your planned departure from sajhaland. Perhaps personal and professional imperatives dictate this. However, as a fan of yours, kaamred, I am left with no choice but to urge you to remain. An entirely selfish appeal perhaps, but made on behalf of many like-minded readers. May we urge you to reconsider? For in your own unassertive but firm manner, I've seen you calm troubled waters. You have wit, charm and exercise timely and accurate judgment. And, perhaps I read too much in the melancholy tinge of your moniker, but, to my mind, it aptly represents an attractive and thoughtful person. No wet-behind-the-ears preppie! The often acrimonious atmosphere that clouds sajha of late would be further strengthened were we to be deprived of your sprightly and joyous words. Yours, fondly, Czar
