Let explain the whole sitution. First, all the gods are aliens. After the bigbang......( first letter or word of universe Om) came up. These aliens who has been living in different galaxy has been observing us more than trillions of years. They observe the formation of life in planet and when it became suitable. They either hybrid by crossing between them or they planted some of the own kind here in earth having suitable enviroment. Then they call themselves god coz they have more knowladge than us. They teach us how to do the things and gave us the language. There is so many things that was impossible so they name it sin and good doing. There came then women which was partner for mankind. They proposed the theory of heaven which is there planet. They were able to preserve the energy which changes like when we die our form changes so that became soul ( atma). The whole way of defining things change the way of looking around. At, the end when rigveda was composed there is no discrimination of women. The women were same as man that age.
