Sonika dear, I think women in Nepal started to copy american girls wayyy before they were in USA...they don't have to come to USA , they still do it Nepal! If we are in USA, are we supposed to wear saris and kurthas even though it's 100 degrees and extremely hot outside???? It doesn't make sense....don't we have to change ourselves according to the respective country's culture?? Saris aren't the most comfortable clothings in my view....they are made to cover up women not made for comfort....think about it! I would encourage women to copy white girls because they are the most forward womenkind out there ......in terms of independence, brain, fashion forwardness, strong, skills etc. It's rather astounding to say women like us who copy white women are Idle! Dressups doesn't make somebody dumb....our brain remains the same...it's an added bonus and our choice....we have good education, skills, brain, independece and power to fight back with men to do what we desire. U can't judge people like way...we are no less than u. Do u still walk around in sari in USA? We can copy good things from certain race and leave the bad things away...why is it so hard to shallow? Who is saying we are americans??? No, we consider ourselves hardworking immigrants trying our best to immerse and fit in in a totally different culture.....which is extremely hard to do.
