If I had rushed, I would had ended paying for smoke test which was not necessary ( Mechanic's eye are always on your wallet and no mercy on you).

Driving car for decades makes you an experience driver, only those who are interested in mechanical/auto will acquire knowledge about it. Very few people will consult manual ( technical terminology hard to follow) and I like you-tube which provides visual information which is easy to understand as well to follow.
